摘要：In last couple of years, various network switch vendors have presented programming improvementpacks for re-programming their network devices and many business switches now support the rising OpenFlowstandard. Analysts and researchers have proposed new applications that can keep running on top of a softwaredefined network (SDN), like energy-efficient networking, load balancing, dynamic access control and seamlessclient mobility. Several research and industry groups are exploring various components of software definednetworking. The goal of this paper is to explore advancements related to software define networking and tounderstand the capabilities of SDN.
