摘要：The historical transition from Command Line Interface to Graphical User Interface raised usabilityproblems, and as a consequence, various researchers developed new evaluation methodologies in order to developfriendly systems that were able to support performance and the spread of information on the World Wide Web. Theterm usability plays an important role in human life. Human Computer Interface & Security has identified the need toimprove usability. Most of the recent research in this area focuses on the issue by improving user interfaces to securitytools. In this paper, a comprehensive overview of the historical developments leading to the need for usability andsecurity of human computer interaction (HCI) is presented.
