摘要:MANET is an area of researches, which deals with multiple packet transmission in available data nodeand furthers various routing protocol and algorithms used for communication. While dealing with the routing network,there are different approaches which deal with limitations. With the increase of traffic, congestion occurs. To reducecongestion different queue algorithms are available like FIFO, RED, SFQ etc. FIFO technique which also gets followin ATM system is being performed in existing work. It waits for the first queue to finish and then get process to nextstep over. A Red queue work where number of data packet need to be hold and then process in the FIFO and requiredmanner. Stochastic Fair Queuing (SFQ) ensures fair access to network resources and prevents a busty flow fromconsuming more than its fair share. In this paper we focussed on comparative analysis of FIFO and RED. Resultestablishes that the congestion occurs with increase of traffic.
