摘要:The paper investigates the dynamics of curricular policies for Physical Education in a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro. To collect data we performed analysis of documents, ethnographic observations and interviews with participants of the school community. The data analysis allows the following considerations: despite the existence of a curricular requirement, teachers had the autonomy to select and organize their teaching contents; there was a little investment in the development of a curricular policy for Physical Education; there wasn’t an effective participation of teachers in building the curricular documents, that could result in proposals linked to everyday life.
