摘要：In this short article, we propose and explain a simple method that can be used to encrypt an FTP (file transfer protocol) server account password in an ASCII text file. This is useful for programmers of all levels to provide some security with regard to the FTP functionality of their programs. The method is easy and encapsulated enough to be understood and implemented in the form of a single function in any programming language while providing sufficient protection for most purposes where security is not the most critical issue.
