摘要：Impossible projects? At the turn of the century, Den Gamle By rebuilt the magnificent Mintmaster’s Mansion from Copenhagen. The success made us believe that the museum is able to implement even larger projects. We looked back into history and discovered that in the founding period it was deeply rooted in Den Gamle By’s DNA to be able to carry out projects that others considered impossible. Reviving this attitude provided important encouragement when the plan surfaced for adding districts from the 20th century to the town.
