摘要:The House tells its own Story Open Air Museums typically display houses, homes, shops and workshops. Stories about the building itself are rarely in focus. They are, however, in the newly opened exhibition, The House tells its own Story. In this house from Hjørring in Northern Jutland, we tell stories about the electricity, the plumbing, the doorbells, the wallpaper and other important, but often neglected features of modern houses. We even show the insects and animals that could be found in a typical flat. And we show how we document and translocate a house from its original site to Den Gamle By.
