摘要：Este artigo busca compreender algumas alterações espaciais ocorridas na Feira do Alecrim, a primeira feira livre do município de Natal-RN. Essas alterações resultam da interferência de atores hegemônicos que, nos últimos anos, têm tomado medidas efetivas na tentativa de normatizá-la. Entretanto, estas tentativas não conseguiram excluir o caráter espontâneo presente no funcionamento da mesma, superpondo-se a esta espontaneidade, um caráter normatizador. Algumas atitudes subversivas, intencionais ou não, partem dos feirantes que, constantemente, reinventam suas práticas sociais, levando a que alguns elementos tradicionais ganhem novos significados e funcionalidades. Desse modo, buscamos identificar as relações existentes entre o tradicional e o novo na Feira do Alecrim, além das relações identitárias que aí se manifestam. Para tal fim, a pesquisa de campo proporcionou uma maior aproximação com o nosso objeto de estudo e com os diferentes atores sociais que o constituem.
关键词：feira; normatização; território; permanência e coexistência ABSTRACT This article seeks to understand some changes that have occurred in the Free Fair of Alecrim; the first one street fair of Natal-RN; These changes have resulted from the interference of hegemonic actors in recent years; that have taken effective measures in the attempt of standardize it; However; these attempts have failed to exclude the spontaneous characters presents in their operation; overlapping to this spontaneity; a normative character; Some subversive attitudes; intentional or not; begin of the fairground that constantly reinvent their social practices; which means that some traditional elements to receive new meanings and functions; In this way; we seek to identify the relationship between the traditional and new in the Street Fair of Alecrim; beyond some identity relations that are manifested in this place; So; the field survey provided a closer relationship with the object of our study and the different social actors that constitute it; Keywords fair; standardization; territory; stay and coexistence; RESUMEN Este artículo intenta comprender algunos cambios que han ocurrido en la Feria del Alecrín; la primera feria de calle en la ciudad de Natal-RN; Estos cambios se deben a la interferencia de los actores hegemónicos en los últimos años; que han tomado acciones efectivas en el intento de estandarizarla; Sin embargo; estos intentos no han conseguido borrar el carácter espontáneo presente en el funcionamiento de la misma; pero hay una superposición entre la espontaneidad y la normalización; Algunas actitudes subversivas; intencionales o no; parten de los vendedores que constantemente reinventan sus prácticas sociales; lo que significa que algunos elementos tradicionales ganan nuevos significados y funciones; Por lo tanto; tratamos de identificar la relación entre lo tradicional y el nuevo en la Feria del Alecrín; y también; las relaciones de identidad que se manifiestan en la feria; Con este fin; la investigación de campo ayudó a una aproximación con nuestro objeto de estudio y con los diferentes actores sociales que lo constituyen; Palavras-chave feria; normalización; territorio; estancia y coexistencia; DOI 10;5654/actageo2012;0611;0011
