摘要:The WWW nowadays enables faculty to develop new Internet-based applications that can be used to enhance classroom instruction. There is a clear evolution towards the implementation of new service-oriented learning/teaching systems, which can be considered as the latest generation of Internet-based platforms. This work first describes a service-oriented system in order to follow the students progress and automatically assess their practical activities, not theoretical knowledge. The service oriented paradigm allows us to implement a more advanced system for the self-evaluation and continuous assessment of the students progress in the field of Information Technology, where activities measure practical daily-work skills. Second, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is used to analyze the acceptance of our proposal. In the results obtained, the participants found the system significantly easier to use, and it proved useful for their purposes. It is also concluded that participants (students and faculty) feel confident with the system.
