摘要：The focus of the present article is the concept of popular literature in the epistemiological sense of language construction within literary science, i.e. explanation and possible distinction of the concept of popular literature from the alternative accepted concepts (by the Croatian literary science) of trivial or entertaining, low, mass or cheap literature. We shall try to sketch the scope of the concept and the conditions of its use in the contemporary context.
