摘要：The predominance of counterproductive work behavior in the workplace has propelled negative consequences (such as low productivity, poor job satisfaction, and sabotage among others). This study investigates the relationships between organizational determinants and counterproductive work behavior among employees in Nigerian Maritime Industry. To achieve the objectives, causal research design was adopted employing questionnaire as a primary data collection instrument. Purposive sampling technique was used in drawing a sample of 811 respondents, out of which 734 were found useful for analyses, representing 73.4% response rate. The findings reveal that organizational determinants of CWB (organizational justice, organizational support, organizational climate and organizational culture) have positive significant relationship with each other and negative relationship with CWB. The study recommends that business organizations should develop mechanism for filtering the workplace from possible factors that could propel CWB and then develop capabilities to manage and control them. It therefore concludes that management of organizations should uphold the justice and equity principles and create enabling environment in the work place in order to reduce the tendencies to counterproductive work behavior in the organizations especially in the Nigerian maritime industry.
