其他摘要:In the present work an algorithm to avoid mesh distortion in finite element (FE) analyses of large deformation problems is presented. These distortion problems usually occur when using Updated-Lagrangian (UL) formulations, where the mesh flows together with the material. In this work, mesh and material displacements are uncoupled by using a Lagrangian-Eulerian (LE) formulation. The presentation of a three-dimensional (3D) extension of this formulation applied to a metal-forming case is the new contribuition in this work.
