其他摘要:In this paper a methodology for the quantification of the siltation process in the region around a water intake for the refrigeration of a thermoelectric power plant, based on computational methods, is presented. The water intake is located at the mouth ofa river and is afected by a tidal-eolical regime. A 2D horizontal hydrodynamic model is used to obtain the velocity field at the study zone. Siltation is represented through a decoupled model specially developed for this problem. The resulting hydrosedimentologic model is calibrated with field data and is applied for a particular engineering study.
