其他摘要:We propose a Lagrangian framework for modelling fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems with free surfaces flows. The model is based on a Lagrangian approach for describing the fluid and structural dynamics. Our approach allows to treat the whole FSI domain as a single entity and describes its behaviour by a single set of momentum and continuity equations and which is solved using a single numerical method. This work uses the Particle Finite Element Method (PFEM) to solve the resulting differential equations. The PFEM is an effective technique for modelling complex interactions between floating and submerged bodies and free surface flows, accounting for splashing of waves, large motions of the bodies and frictional contact conditions. Examples are presented based on the model including free surfaces flows and breaking waves impacting over elastics structures.
