其他摘要:Koca Ragib Pasha Library which was built by Ottoman minister and poet Ragib Pasha in 1763 as a part of complex was located at Laleli district in Istanbul. The library, directed by Ministry of Cultural and Tourism, was restorated in 2010. During the restoration, the 18th century Ottoman glass samples and revzen (window frame) were revealed from the library and were analised by using various archaeometrical methods. The samples were primarily visually analised with their physical conditions and their thickness and colours were determined by choromametric analysis. Then the samples were photographically documented and catalogged. The production techniques of the glass samples were also determined visually and under microscope. The thin section of the sample revzen was prepared and analysed petrographically under the optical microscopy. The elemental compositons of the samples were analysed by the spectroscopic methods of X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy. Complementary results showed that the revzen samples are in gypsum and the glass samples are the typical soda-lime type. However, the Ca and Si content of the samples were a bit lower than the expected values that might be the reason of decomposition of the glasses when the time being. It was understood that the origin of the raw material was the sea sand and soda was the only alkaline source of the glasses. The high content of the K2O of the samples showed that the plant ash should also be added for the samples. The primary colour related elements were Fe, Co, Mn and Cu with Cr, Pb, Sn, Sb and As for the glasses.
