摘要：Bu çalışmada, yaratmış olduğu kendine has tarzıyla önemli hikâyecilerimizden biri olan Sait Faik’in hayatı ve edebi eserlerindeki mekânların anlamı üzerinde duracağız. Sait Faik’in bir “taşra” kasabası olan Adapazarı’nda doğmuş ve büyümüş olduğu bilinmektedir. Adapazarı dışında yaşadığı bazı mekânların da onun hayatında önemli yerleri olduğunu söylemeliyiz. Ancak, Sait Faik’in hikâyeciliğinin ve hayatının “merkez”inde bir başka mekânın, İstanbul’un bulunduğu da bilinmektedir. Bu yazıda; Sait Faik’te merkezi ve taşrayı oluşturan bu mekânlardan kaynaklanan bir gerilimin varlığını ileri sürecek ve söz konusu gerilimden kaçışın ise âdeta “melez” bir mekân olarak inşa edilen “ada” ile mümkün kılındığını ileri süreceğiz.
其他摘要：In this studying, we will point out that Sait Faik is one of the important writer, who has an unique style on the meaning of the locations in his life and literary works. It is known that Sait Faik was born and grown in provincial town Adapazarı. We should say that places, outside of Adapazarı are important in his life. However, it is known that in the centre of the story writing and his life have been existed on another location, İstanbul. In this article, we assert to a tansion of existance which was happenedin this places composing centre and village, and we also assert that, the escape from tansion was possible with the ‘Island’ was built as an ‘hibrid’ place.
