摘要：Microgrid is a demand of modern century in ideal power system due to its accuracy andefficiency. It fulfills the requirement of energy for customers by utilizing several renewableenergy resources. Despite of smart invention system, it is still facing many challenges regardingdesign, operation, control, and protection in both modes either connected or islanded. Thesefacts regarding microgrids lead us towards its further development. This paper facilitates thediscussion about microgrid limitations and research development including distributedgeneration, operation, control techniques and protection enhancement.
