摘要：This paper aims at questioning theories of expressive experiencethat rely on imagination. I will namely address Jerrold Levinson’s Personatheory and Paul Noordhof’s theory of sensuous imagining arguing that theirproblematic aspects are grounded in a misleading assumption aboutexpressiveness. As an alternative, I will sketch an approach according towhich expressive experience primarily consists in the perceptual experienceof patterns of dynamic features.
