摘要：This thesis is concerned with comparative analysis of the K-means and EM algorithms as clusteringapproaches in order to cluster the students and their results to evaluate the department’s performance. Furthermore, thethesis turned to investigate the use of the so-called association rules task, with particular emphases on the K-meansalgorithm.
