摘要：There are numerous applications of wireless sensor networks that are unavoidable these days. Thelimited energy available in such sensors is a threat to extend the life of an entire hierarchical network. This work isaimed at reducing the energy consumption of the wireless sensor nodes by taking advantages of the different operatingmodes of power and the structure of the hierarchical networks. Combination of interrupted sleep timer activated fromSleep for sensor data Acquisition and RF high frequency and the interruption of the base station for data exchangereduces the average power consumption in many fields and therefore increases the duration of the battery-life.
