摘要:Less optimal Green Open Space function having potency increases inundation debit in settlement areaeach year in Sampang Sub district. So, it is necessary for a research to be able to optimize the GOS function as aninundation control in settlement areas in Sampang city. The research method used in this research is quantitativedescriptive analysis used to determine the optimization of GOS ecological functions as an catchment area in settlementin Sampang city, the scoring technique with likert scale and overlaid using Arc-GIS is used to determine the ability andnatural infiltration map in Sampang city area. Conditions of air absorption in the study area comprising 181.455 Ha or48% experienced a critical infiltration condition. The airborne infiltration condition has a critical area of 166,138 Ha or44% of the study area. Good air recharge conditions have an area of 16.044 Ha or 4% of the study area. The generallyaccepted condition with a general area of 17.789 Ha is 5% of the total area of study.
