摘要:Electrodeposition of metals from electrolytes result in growth of dendritic patterns exhibiting fractalcharacter under certain cell operating conditions. Electrodeposition of zinc in the form of dendritic patterns exhibitingfractal character is studied in circular cell geometry using zinc acetate and zinc sulphate as electrolyte in circularelectrodeposition cell geometry. It is shown that the electrodeposits obtained from the two electrolyte exhibit differentcharacter in terms of the branching pattern morphology and complexity of structure. The electrodeposited patterns areanalysed for fractal character using box counting technique and the results and findings are presented.
