摘要:In this paper, we propose various defected ground structures (DGS) for improving the return loss andimpedance bandwidth of an ultra wideband antenna. A comparative parametric analysis has been made on the basis ofreturn loss, gain, radiation pattern characteristics and impedance bandwidth. Simulation results are analyzed andpresented for an ultra wideband antenna with four slots in its radiating patch considering three types of DGSconfigurations.
