摘要:In this research work, various electromagnetic band gap structures (EBG) are proposed for improving thereturn loss and impedance bandwidth of an UWB antenna. The comparative parametric analysis has been made on thebasis of factors such as return loss, gain, radiation pattern characteristics and impedance bandwidth. The analysis hasbeen made on an UWB antenna consisting of four slots in its radiating patch with five different types of EBGconfigurations using HFSS (High Frequency Structural Simulator).
