摘要:Agricultural experts play an important role in facilitating climatechange adaptation in Austria. We investigate their perceptions and future expectations of changes in regional climate conditions, agricultural impacts, and private adaptation. Semi-structured interviews have been conducted in two case study regions. The results show that changes in temperature, extreme events as well as high uncertainties of future climate conditions are perceived as most challenging. Perceived impacts focus on negative effects on crop production. Incremental, systemic and transformational adaptation is perceived relevant for the case study regions. The implementation is driven by farm and regional characteristics as well as by legal, market and policy conditions. Accordingly, private adaptation should be facilitated by a broad variety of public measures.
