摘要：Wireless sensor network consists of number of sensors, which collects the information and sendto the sink node. Sensor node has limited energy storage and cannot be replaced in certain applications. Asignificant work has been done on optimization of the protocols in each layer of the sensor network tooptimize the energy. In this paper, we are presenting a research review on the network layer protocolsfor optimum routing, lifetime and energy optimization.
