  • 摘要:With regard to empirical studies on the use of digital media in schools, the attitudes of teachers have been taken into focus and the attitudes of students towards digital media in schools have hardly been considered. Following up on this research desideratum, an exploratory qualitative study was conducted in June/July 2015 in which two group discussions were held with students from secondary schools in North Rhine-Westphalia. By using documentary method method according to Bohnsack (2013), the media-related attitudes of the students were reconstructed with regard to the use of digital media and specifically of the smartphone in the school. A key finding of the study is a critical and reflective attitude of the students and the desire for a limited to specific teaching phases use of digital media.
