摘要:The cantoria de repente is a poetic-musical activity essentially improvised. As a contemporary oral manifestation, it also receives writing influence, and frequently uses this feature for improvement and memorization purposes aiming a good performance. The listener, co-author of the poetic text, is an essential element for the performative set and also the main control agent of the presented content. The text previously prepared by some repente singers, as well as its repetition, although presented as improvise, use to have a negative repercussion when this practice is discovered by the listener. The recording devices and marketing tools appear as the main control supports adopted and oblige the popular poets who use this presentation strategy to rethink their professional practice. This work intends to investigate what actually is improvised and what is not in the performance of repente singers; as listeners act in co-authoring process, but also controlling these artistic activities; and how the technological devices can help listeners and repente singers in their performances.
