摘要：The aim of this study is to discuss the lack of women athletes and the almost completeabsence of women in decision-making positions at any level of sport organisations inIsrael. By using the Israeli social-historical setting, an attempt is made to focus on theconceptualisation of the National Project for Women and Sport (NPWS) as a gender equitypolicy organisation in Israel since 2005, which was designed to challenge the existingsituation in which women’s sport and women in sport found themselves marginalised atall levels of management and competition.
