摘要：The World Health Organization defines reproductive health as a state of completephysical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity,in all matters related to the reproductive system and its functions and processes. Thelow fertility rate in Serbia places the problems associated with reproductive health onthe list of priorities of public health and indicates the need for them to be identified andsystematically solved. The aim of the paper is to determine the situation in the field ofreproductive health in Serbia in the past ten years and to define major topics that theSerbian professional public treated in the above-mentioned period. This review articlehas also covered papers from the Serbian Citation Index national base which were pickedusing key words related to reproductive health. We have singled out only articles thatwere published in the past ten years. Some of the reproductive health areas are yet to becovered, or there is not enough quality data. Gathering together experts in different fields,who are interested in reproductive health, would ensure more accurate data and enable theelaboration of concrete programs and a uniform reproductive health strategy in Serbia.
