摘要：With the growth of urban areas, there has been an increase in the generation of waste, among which are the waste resulting from construction activities, which represent about 50% to 70% of the waste generated in urban centers. The objective of the research was to prepare a diagnosis of the solid waste situation of the civil construction in two companies operating in the city of Manaus. It was adopted to obtain data interviews with the owners, addressing questions about waste management. The results show that the companies are not aware of CONAMA Resolution No. 307/02, which establishes guidelines for the management of civil construction waste, not generating and reducing waste, generating large quantities, with the largest generation being waste Class A and those of lower generation class D waste with 77% and 3% respectively in company "A" and 67% and 3% in company "B", and that practically all the material analyzed has potential for recycling and reuse.
