摘要：Urban development has significant impacts on the environment, requiring sustainable measures to minimize pollution caused by anthropogenic interaction. Therefore, the present work has as objective to present a technical proposal with reference to the abstraction and use of rainwater for non potable purposes, for, a case study was carried out in a horizontal residential condominium of the municipality of Caçador/SC, composed of sixty six townhouses and two kiosks. In view of the water scarcity problems that we are currently experiencing and which will worsen in the medium term, it is interesting to seek new sources of water supply that will meet the current and future demands of consumption. The proposal focuses specifically on the environmental issue with a focus on sustainability, managing the water resources of the condominium so that the use of rainwater supra considerably the demand of the consumption of drinking water in uses without the need of the use of drinking water, where the management of the water on the condominium aims to use natural concepts for treatment such as the use of sand and activated carbon for its treatment of rainwater.
