摘要:Each organization has its own system of values, beliefs and attitudes that are validfor the schools and it accompanies the concept of school culture, one of theimportant factors determining the success of a school. Immigration is aphenomenon that leads to great influences in every society. The purpose of thisstudy is to determine what reflections; the Syrian asylum seekers have on schoolculture in a primary school, which is also used as a Temporary Training Center(TTC) in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara. 12 participants, including 5 teachers,5 Turkish parents and 2 administrators, participated in the research, which wasdesigned in case study design and in which qualitative data collection and analysismethods were used. The data obtained via the semi-structured interview formsprepared by the researcher were analyzed with descriptive analysis technique.According to the results of the research; after the Syrians came, there were somechanges in the school culture. However, since such a massive migration is a verynew experience, and school managers are sensitive to this issue and demonstratedemocratic leadership features, there have been no major issues in the school. It isthought that the problems will gradually decrease, as experience about immigrationincreases.
