摘要：Tourism is an important tool in the development of the global economy. Accordingto the level of country development, its geographical location and other factors, some forms oftourism are more developed than others. The rural tourism is one of the most popular forms oftourism in Republic of Moldova. This form of tourism has a positive impact on the nationaleconomy especially on the rural one via creating jobs and attracting foreign investments etc..In rural areas, in Moldova, there are meaningful cultural heritage and traditions bypromoting agricultural activities that do have a significant impact for tourism development.But in this sector there are certain issues that do have a negative impact upon thedevelopment of rural tourism. The state intervention of providing a state aid measures to thebusiness environment via providing external funds are the best solution for mentionedproblems. Some state members of EU had already implemented such kind of measures forrural tourism development. In this way, Republic of Moldova has to follow the bestinternational practices in order to develop tourism, especially rural tourism.
