摘要：This paper looks at possible ways of modelling the spatial and temporal resolution of asensor observation. A receptor-centric definition of spatial and temporal support is proposed,and it is suggested that spatial resolution can be equated with the spatial support ofthe observer, while temporal resolution can be estimated using the temporal support of theobserver. A formal specification in the functional language Haskell helps to test the consistencyof the ideas proposed.
