摘要：The psychological terminological system of the Russian language is rapidly developing, being constantly enriched with new lexical units due to borrowing from other languages. In these conditions, the issue of accurate translation of terms representing new scientific concepts acquires particular urgency. However, the translational aspect of the interaction between the English and Russian psychological terminology systems has not received adequate coverage in the scientific literature. This article is devoted to the study of the methods used in contemporary psychological literature to translate lexical units with terminological meaning. The purpose of the study is to identify, on the bases of examples from psychological texts, the problems associated with the translation of English terms into Russian, and propose effective strategies for overcoming them
