其他摘要:Mammalian fauna in the Wakayama Experimental Forest of Hokkaido University (ca. 430ha) was surveyed from March to May 2009. Infra-red triggered cameras were set at 87 places over the forest and total 504 individuals of 12 mammalian species were photographed: Japanese sika deer (Cervus nippon), boar (Sus scrofa), Japanese monkey (Macaca fuscata), Japanese squirrel (Sciurus lis), Japanese hare (Lepus brachyurus), Japanese marten (Martes melampus), badger (Meles meles), raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides), weasel (Mustela sp.), Japanese serow (Capricornis crispus), Japanese field mouse (Apodemus sp.), Japanese giant flying squirrel (Petaurista leucogenys). On the other hand, Japanese fox (Vulpes vulpes), raccoon (Procyon lotor), Asian black bear (Ursus thibetanus) and any bat species (Chiroptera) could not be photographed.
