摘要：Nearly one third of the publicationis made up of photographs taken byWytske van Keulen. Most of themare grouped together in two „photoessays“covering the two travel areas,Ho Chi Minh City and the MekongDelta. The photos are not just anillustrative supplement, but are notablyinformative in their own right, givinga lively impression of people, theirliving conditions and urban (HCMC)or rural (Mekong Delta) surroundings.Especially revealing is the view onthe booming megacity's poorer andless modern looking “water backyard”made up by rivers and canals.
