摘要:In this paper, we consider a popular kind of openqueueing networks consisting of service stations arranged inseries configuration with different service rate for each station.Poisson arrivals and exponential service times are assumed. Weapply matrix-geometric method to evaluate steady-stateprobabilities and define performance measures, such as meannumber in the system, mean waiting time in the system andblocking probability. Exact formulae of stability conditions arederived. Disposition strategies of service rates for each servicestation are suggested in order to increase working efficiency ofthis queueing system.
