摘要:In this article, we will discuss how BIM modelingtechnology can be used to improve the safety of peopleand buildings in fire-fighting and panic. The objective ofthis research is to construct an automation methodologyof the process of verification of fire compliance, whichallows the development of a computation tool more agileand less prone to errors than the manual methodcurrently in use in the Fire Department of the State ofMinas Gerais (FDS-MG) in Brazil. The process ofcreating a plug-in for a BIM environment, a prototype ofa computer system called BIMSCIP, will be describedand aims to verify the conformity of projects with FireDepartment standards. In this work, emphasis will beplaced on a particular technical instruction: technicalinstruction number 06, which deals with the structuralsafety of buildings in cases of fire. At the current stagethe prototype already reads the project and returnsconsistent results.
