摘要：The purpose of the research was to investigate therelationship between information technology (IT) operationsrisk management (ORM) and small to medium enterprises’(SMEs) performance. Following a review of the literature, aquestionnaire was developed with the aim of addressing theresearch purpose. A simple random sampling technique wasused to sample 107 respondents in a financial SME. In orderto determine the percentage contribution of some of theidentified significant predictors of challenges posed by ORMsolutions, multiple regression analysis was used. Thepercentage distribution revealed that only one variable made asignificant contribution: “The way in which end-users dealwith the implementation of IT projects”. The resultsadditionally revealed that the variable contributedapproximately 88.4% of the variations in the level of variablesthat enhance SMEs’ performance. The analysis of variancealso revealed that the regression coefficients were real anddid not occur by chance. The recommendation of the study isthat SMEs should improve the way they deal with theimplementation of IT projects in order to address ORM.
