摘要:The seatbelt is an important element to keep the occupant subject to the seat during an accident. However, if the seatbelt anchorage does not resist the occupant during a crash, it is ejected from the seat. Therefore, it is essential to analyze its effectiveness. The purpose of this work is to assess the strength of the anchorages for safety belts of 2 and 3 anchorage points of a commercial bus seat, applying the Regulation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (ECE-R14). The materials properties of the seat structure and the belt anchorages were obtained by tensile and bending tests. A finite element model was created using Piecewise Linear Isotropic Plasticity from Ansys – LsDyna. The anchors were evaluated by applying forces on the pelvic and thoracic blocks fastened through the belt as specified in the regulation. In the analysis, the anchors presented large deformations reaching the rupture. Modifying the shape and position of the anchors and increasing structural reinforcements in high-stress areas, the anchors complied with the regulation. This work aims to create a methodology for the seating industry that allows assessing their models prior to homologations
