摘要：The article is dedicated to theoretical and methodological aspects of formation of human values among the students of classical universities. It considers the essence and content of methodological approaches and uncovers the principles of educational and upbringing processes at classical universities and their regularities; it proves that the formation of the developed personality of a student presupposes adoption of system of human values that make up the basis of spiritual culture. It is also emphasized in the article that implementation of human values in educational process is of great significance, as the perspectives of humanization fo education depend seriously ona successful solution of the issue. The essence of it lies in providing of conscious choice of spiritual values and shaping a steady, consistent individual system of humanistic values of student youth’ orientation that demonstrate their motivation and value attitude towards the world around them
