摘要:The chlorinated hydrocarbon insecticides, DDT and dieldrin, are currently the most effective residual insecticides available, owing in part to their stability and to the fact that their effect is relatively independent of the materials to which they are applied. Recently two compounds of the group of organic phosphorus esters have been developed which are resistant to alkalies and approach the chlorinated hydrocarbons in residual effect. One of these (S 1752) is reported on in detail here; results are given of tests which show that this compound has a residual effect lasting several months.
