  • 摘要:Software reliability prediction is performed at different stages during software development process to assess if the software meets reliability requirement and avoid any potential software failures. Reliability prediction methods play an important role in guiding software project decision makers to recognizing strategies that can transform project outcomes from failure to success. This paper presents a summary of several recently published reliability prediction methods. The presented approaches are classified into either earlier or later stage. Various techniques for reliability prediction, such as probability, metric based, fuzzy logic, and neural networks are discussed. The theoretical bases of these approaches are explained whereas many of their limitations are identified. General points related to software reliability prediction topics are concluded based on this review.
