标题:Investigating the Relationship between Achievement Motivation with Students’ Self-Regulation in Payam Noor University of Charam County, Iran in the Academic Year 2013-14
摘要:The present study aims to examine the relationship between students' achievement motivation with their self - regulation. The sample consisted of 700 students studying in Payam Noor University of Charam in the Academic Year 2013 - 14 of which 120 subjects were selected by random cluster sampling and using Cochran's sample size determination formula. Instruments included two self - regulation questionnaires of Boufard et al ., [5] and Hermenc's Achievement Motivation, their reliability in this study were obtained 0.77 and 0.78 respectively using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. This research was descriptive and correlational. Pearson correlation test an d simple and stepwise linear regression were used for data analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between students' achievement motivation and their self - regulation and that self - regulation is a significant predictor of students' ach ievement motivation.
