摘要：The research aimed to investigate the Impact of Economic status as reasons and grounds creating on social Apathy in Iran. The main question of survey is how the Impact of Economic status on social Apathy rate of citizens. It is used survey metho d with the population sample of 385 people over 18 years among the citizens of Babol. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire was measured by face validity and Cronbach's alpha 0/85.The results revealed that there was level of average of social apath y among the Babol citizens. Rate of social Apathy in traditional jobs and unemployed low incomes is much higher. The findings show that the soc ial apathy is different in occupational groups and Economic status. There is an inverse and meaningful relationsh ip between income and social apathy. The results show that there is an inverse and meaningful relationship between Economic status and social apathy, so t hat by increasing (or decreasing) economic status, the social apathy will be reduced (or increased).
