摘要:By mid-20th century, Latin America witnessed the first applications of the reinforced ceramic technique in building laminate structures, as part of a process that sought constructive solutions at a low price yet with high structural efficiency. Starting off from considering the well-known works of the Uruguayan Eladio Dieste and moving on to also take into account those of the Columbian engineer Guillermo González Zuleta, who back in his home country independently designed numerous roofs using this technique, most of which have proven to provide optimal stability and durability features. This article presents some of the more relevant projects completed by González and analyses the solutions and details he conceived, based on a methodology that combines visual inspection and reading the original drawings.
