其他摘要：Analysis of blood metabolites and their level are routinely being used in clinical laboratory for diagnosis and prognosis of various diseases. Present manuscript reports the physiological level of some important and commonly used blood metabolites of Assam local non-descript sheep. The mean ± SE values of glucose, total protein, albumin, globulin, A/G ratio, cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL, creatinine, BUN, uric acid, TBIL and DBIL were found to be 55 ± 6.40 mg/dl, 6.9±0.35 g/dl, 2.98 ± 0.19 g/dl, 0.768 ± 0.12, 80.6 ± 4.03 mg/dl, 62.6 ± 9.34 mg/dl, 0.76 ± 0.11 mg/dl, 13.4 ± 0.79 mg/dl, 0.22 ±0.44 mg/dl, 0.3 ± 0.12 mg/dl and 0.12 ± 0.04 mg/dl, respectively. Results of the study may be useful as reference values for scientific community as this is the first study of its kind in Assam local non-descript sheep.KEY WORD: Blood, Metabolite, Sheep.
