  • 摘要:The reality of European young people is determined by phenomena such as precarious jobs or unemployment. With these precedents, an integral and psychosocial research of the employment situation of young people was designed. The analysis is focused on job insecurity, defined as fear of job loss. Job Insecurity is a phenomenon widely studied in the European scientific research. With a sample of 967 workers, the relationship between job insecurity and university education was observed in young people (between 16-29 years old) and in people over 30 years old. The results evidenced that young people with university education presented more job insecurity or fear of job loss, while in people over 30 years old the job insecurity level is disconnected from having received academic training. The implications of these results were discussed, concluding that there is a need of more research focused in young people and other discriminated groups in the labor market. It is important to develop this research from a multidisciplinary perspective.
